WorldAgriPreneurs (WAPs) was created after hearing the disappointing experiences of island farmers who, often coerced to give their produce to "traffickers" (merchants) to sell them to the larger West Indian islands. In return the traffickers agree on price upon return. Sadly when they return farmers are told they (merchant) did not get them sold for a profit so can only return next to zero dollars.
WAPs Ecommerce website is hoping to change this interaction to a positive one where the farmer is engaged directly to their customers.
